Mission
To create infrastructure that makes business ownership transfer more visible, accessible and organised across Jamaica and eventually the Caribbean.
Mantl is a Crest Labs product, based in Kingston. Crest Labs is co-founded by Maison Crest Holdings and ProtosIQ. Mantl exists because established Jamaican businesses change hands quietly — through word of mouth, family, or not at all — while people who want to own a business have nowhere organised to look.
The marketplace does a specific job: it organises what is available, standardises how a business presents itself, has an attorney certify that the seller is entitled to sell, and connects the two sides. Financing, legal diligence and closing documents belong to the parties and their own advisors.
We start in Jamaica because that is the market we know and the gap we can address first. Regional expansion follows traction here, not before it.
